WHAT IS THE OPEN BLADE MADE OF?
The OPEN slat is a powder-coated aluminum slat with an openwork design, designed to integrate into Boston Open panels. Its aluminum is Qualicoat® / Qualimarine® certified, ensuring resistance to corrosion and UV rays. The textured finish offers a modern and elegant look, and the slat is available in anthracite grey RAL7016 or black RAL9005. It is lightweight, rigid, and perfectly suited for durable outdoor use.
WHAT ARE THE INSTALLATION POSSIBILITIES?
HOW TO MAINTAIN IT?
Maintenance of the OPEN slats is minimal. The powder-coated finish protects against stains, corrosion, and fading. A simple cleaning with clear water using a soft cloth or a non-abrasive brush is enough to keep them looking new. No additional treatment is necessary, and the textured surface masks light signs of wear.
WHAT IS ITS DURABILITY?
The OPEN slat is designed to last over time, with a 20-year warranty covering color retention and resistance to external elements. The Qualicoat / Qualimarine certified powder coating ensures excellent resistance to corrosion, UV rays, and weather. The open spacing reduces wind load and limits mechanical stress on the panels, contributing to their stability and longevity.
WHAT ARE ITS TECHNICAL PERFORMANCES?
The OPEN slats are available in heights of 45 mm and 100 mm, with 15 mm spacers for regular spacing. The powder-coated aluminum ensures high mechanical rigidity and excellent dimensional stability. The openwork design allows for ventilation and partial screening, while reducing wind load. The textured finish resists scratches and reflections, and the RAL7016 or RAL9005 colors easily integrate into all types of outdoor layouts.
