WHAT IS THE EXOTICS BOARD MADE OF?
The EXOTICS board is made of 60% FSC®-certified wood fibers and 40% recycled polyethylene, with a density of 1170 kg/m³. It uses 360° co-extrusion, meaning a protective layer of polyethylene wraps the entire board, effectively protecting it against water and stains. Its modulus of elasticity is 3100 MPa, and the thermal expansion coefficient is ≈ 0.0389 mm/m/°C. It comes in dimensions 22.5 × 138 × 3900 mm and features a two-tone profile with two smooth matte faces (Red/Yellow or Red/Brown).
WHAT ARE THE INSTALLATION OPTIONS?
The EXOTICS board from Fiberdeck® is easy to install thanks to its hidden fastening system, allowing a quick and aesthetic installation without visible screws. Compatible with softwood joists, exotic wood joists, or aluminum, this solution ensures optimal stability and enhanced durability. To ensure a proper and lasting installation, it is essential to follow the provided installation guide. This method guarantees a strong, attractive, and low-maintenance deck.
HOW TO MAINTAIN IT?
The EXOTICS board from Fiberdeck® is designed for minimal maintenance thanks to its high-density co-extruded polyethylene surface, offering optimal protection against stains and discoloration. To maintain its appearance, a simple rinse with clean water is sufficient, without detergents. Its composition of recycled wood and polymers ensures increased resistance to impacts and wear. This board requires no oiling or sanding, providing a beautiful and durable deck with minimal upkeep.
WHAT IS ITS DURABILITY?
EXOTICS boards are 360° co-extruded, providing protection against weather, stains, and UV. Each board is two-tone (Ipe Red/Ipe Yellow and Ipe Red/Ipe Brown), allowing color mixing and faithfully mimicking the appearance of exotic wood. These boards come with a 20-year warranty against design or co-extrusion quality issues, ensuring exceptional longevity for your deck.
