WHAT IS THE PREMIUM BOARD MADE OF?
The PREMIUM board is made from a homogeneous mix of 60% wood fibers and 40% recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE), ensuring a dense and durable structure. Thanks to four-sided co-extrusion technology, each board is fully wrapped in a thin, waterproof, UV-resistant protective layer. Integrated multichromatic pigments provide a realistic and long-lasting wood effect without special maintenance.
WHAT INSTALLATION OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
PREMIUM boards fit together via tongue-and-groove in the BOSTON system posts, ensuring easy installation with no visible screws. They can be reinforced with aluminum inserts (typically 3 reinforced boards for a 1.80 m panel) for added rigidity. They also combine easily with aluminum decorative elements or other boards from the BOSTON concept, allowing for customized layouts.
HOW DO YOU MAINTAIN IT?
Maintenance of the PREMIUM board is very simple: the co-extruded protective layer covering all 360° makes the board waterproof and stain-resistant. Periodic cleaning with water and a soft brush is enough to preserve its appearance. The brushed finish also reduces minor wear marks.
WHAT IS ITS DURABILITY?
The PREMIUM board consists of 60% wood fibers and 40% recycled polyethylene, with a density of 1,170 kg/m³. Its protective layer prevents water penetration, and UV-resistant additives limit fading. Expansion is very low (0.0389 mm/m/°C) under normal conditions.
WHAT ARE ITS TECHNICAL PERFORMANCE FEATURES?
PREMIUM boards measure 21 mm in thickness and 160 mm in gross width (usable width: 150 mm) with lengths of 1.78 m. Thanks to four-sided co-extrusion technology, the board is completely hydrophobic, ensuring perfect waterproofing. The joint between boards is invisible, the profile is neutral, and the multichromatic coloring provides a realistic wood effect. Finally, PREMIUM boards are designed to withstand climate stress while maintaining dimensional stability.
