WHAT IS THE MODERN SLAT MADE OF?
The MODERN fence is made of a blend of 60% wood fibers and 40% high-density polyethylene (HDPE), ensuring strength and durability. Its slats are co-extruded on all sides and protected by a thin waterproof, UV-resistant film, reducing fading and maintenance. Aluminum reinforcements can be added for extra rigidity, especially for larger panels.
WHAT ARE THE INSTALLATION OPTIONS?
The MODERN fence is installed using a clever slat-interlocking system (composite wood or aluminum) into aluminum posts, with no visible screws. The posts (approx. 75 × 75 mm) can be anchored in the ground or mounted on a base plate, depending on the type of support. Before installation, slats should be stored flat for at least 48 hours to avoid warping. In areas with strong winds, adding perforated aluminum decorative panels is recommended to reduce wind resistance.
HOW TO MAINTAIN IT?
Maintenance of the MODERN fence is simple and low-effort: cleaning twice a year with clear water using a soft brush is sufficient. The co-extruded surfaces of the slats protect against stains and moisture penetration, minimizing the need for chemical treatments. For stubborn dirt, a brass brush can be used, always following the longitudinal direction of the slat.
WHAT IS ITS DURABILITY?
Thanks to the co-extrusion process, each composite slat is wrapped in a protective layer that stabilizes the material, limits expansion, and protects against UV. The composite wood is made from 60% wood fibers and 40% recycled polyethylene, providing natural resistance to insects, fungi, and moisture, without chemical treatment. The fence is designed to withstand winds up to 120 km/h under appropriate conditions.
WHAT ARE ITS TECHNICAL PERFORMANCE FEATURES?
The slats offer high dimensional stability thanks to co-extrusion and internal reinforcement, with controlled expansion. The structure combines powder-coated aluminum (Qualicoat / Qualimarine certified) and composite slats for an optimal balance between rigidity and aesthetics. Reinforced and well-anchored posts ensure panel stability even under strong loads. Decorative elements and components are designed to integrate modularly while maintaining consistent mechanical performance.
