WHAT IS A WEO® ESSENTIAL BOARD MADE OF?
The WEO® Essential composite cladding is designed to offer a natural and durable wood look. It is made of 60% wood fibers, 35% high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and 5% additives. This composition gives it a density of 1190 kg/m³ and a linear mass of 1.60 kg/m. The boards feature a brushed, matte surface with a multi-chromatic finish that faithfully reproduces the nuances of natural wood. Thanks to co-extrusion technology, a protective polyethylene layer surrounds each board, providing enhanced resistance to weather and UV rays while ensuring perfect waterproofing. This technology also helps maintain the aesthetic appearance of the boards without fading.
WHAT ARE THE INSTALLATION OPTIONS?
WEO® Essential combines easy installation with refined aesthetics. Its modular and lightweight boards allow for fast and precise installation.
WEO® Essential cladding boards have a tongue-and-groove profile. They can be installed as a face-fixed cladding on a timber or aluminum frame, or directly mounted. Fixing between boards and battens is done using self-drilling stainless steel screws. Boards can be installed horizontally or vertically.
A complete range of accessories supports installation: 3 m long aluminum starter profiles and 35×45 mm corner trims, lacquered to match the boards.
HOW TO MAINTAIN IT?
Cleaning is limited to simple water washing to preserve the wood’s natural shine and tones. Thanks to co-extrusion technology, each board is wrapped in a protective polyethylene layer, providing optimal resistance to UV, moisture, and weather, while preserving the multi-chromatic finish over time.
HOW DURABLE IS IT?
WEO® Essential cladding boards resist staining and UV-induced discoloration thanks to co-extrusion technology. The protective surface layer ensures perfect waterproofing and excellent weather resistance, preventing UV rays from affecting the color over time.
WEO® Essential composite boards come with a 20-year warranty against design or co-extrusion quality issues.
