This school extension was designed to offer the school a strong and distinctive identity within its urban environment. Much more than a simple enlargement, the project creates inspiring spaces thanks to an innovative design and carefully selected materials.
The harmonious association of wood and metal gives the building a contemporary aesthetic while bringing warmth and conviviality. Every architectural detail has been thought out to encourage light, dynamism and interaction, transforming the school space into a stimulating and pleasant place for students and teachers.
The WEO®35 cladding plays a central role in this architectural composition. Installed in the form of wooden slats on the ground floor, it creates a monolithic base while retaining openings to the outside, thus highlighting the colorful and playful volumes of the upper floor.
Each block of the extension is identified by a specific color, corresponding to a classroom, reinforcing the pedagogical and visual aspect of the project. The library, the centerpiece of the enlargement, is distinguished by its polished mirror underside, which reflects the environment and adds a playful and poetic dimension to the design.
The whole perfectly illustrates how WEO®35 allows to combine aesthetics, durability and functionality in a modern educational project.
